2006 / January 20/ Good Copywriting launches
So, in the wee hours of the morning I snuck yet another site into my lineup: Good Copywriting. Check it out, it’s a small experiment of mine. I have a lot of thoughts about copywriting and advertising, and wanted to see how well I could manage a blog that wasn’t about randomness and me (Warpspire).
Oh, and also I’m experimenting with throwing in “ads” in Warpspire’s backpages. Not so much ads, per-se. But rather promotions to my many other projects on the web. I still need to improve backpage navigation around here. It seems like my main nav is the only way people can get around. Maybe one of these days when I’m a little less sleep-deprived, I’ll add some more promos into the mix. For now you get one :)

don’t be afraid, it’s just text

Warpspire is the place that web professional Kyle Neath writes about the web.

I really liked your site as-is. That “Good Copywriting” “ad” or “promotion”, whatever you may call it, kinda looks out of place.
I guess that’s better then having “Hire a Copyright Optimizer For Less than 1$ a day!” thrown across this page.
Screw google targeting, but that’s another rant for another day.

I like the current layout, but feel that the “ads” should be slightly more integrated with the general design - as long as they’re for other sites of yours.
By the way, doesn’t CC licensing pretty much cover most small internet copywriting wants?
