2007 / January 15^th/ Organix: Homepage tabs, Featured article detail

I haven’t been talking much about Organix lately — because I’ve been hard at work actually doing (as well as working on a flurry of other projects). I’ll let the screenshots do the talking this time.

Tips/Resouces hasn’t changed much. Added two new tab designs:

   This is just sick. I’m assuming the tabs below the main header image will actually switch the content and image at the top (since the second one is highlighted in your illustration). If not, that may be a nice feature to add. In any case, everything looks terrific: love the typography, the spacing, the grid. It’s lovely.

    That’s looking really sweet dude. I must say it’s always difficult to top a good design int he first place, but I really like how much more mature this is looking. Definitely great work all around.

    Looks great Kyle. I like this design, but that one is nice and fresh.

    Will that big header only be for featured articles? I tried doing the image thing like that once, and found that doing it for every post gets a bit tedious…

    Mike: Yep, it’ll only be for featured articles… and it’s kind of a forced tedious on my part. I’m way too trigger-happy with my post live button, I need something to slow me down and edit my articles before they go out the door ;)
