I’ve had about a billion things running through my mind lately, so I just kind of felt like spilling it all out there.

  • Did you know scientists (and corporations) are patenting life? Every day new chromosomes and organisms are being patented. This hurts my soul.
  • Do you think the internet industry will buckle again? Or the US? I’m leaning towards the latter. I think we’ve gone beyond the point of repair. Costa Rica looks like a nice country, I wonder if they have broadband now.
  • While watching V for Vendetta, I noticed that on November 5th (the second time around) Natalie Portman had a scar in the upper left of her head. The devil is in the details.
  • Hicks launched Pimp my camino. Nice template.
  • Backpack has raised a permanent middle finger to all those trying to share images. Just check out my sharing page. It’s been broken for around a month if I recall correctly.
  • Michael Gondry is a genius.
  • Avalonstar looks really sick with glowing egrolls.
  • Surround sound is awesome.
  • I helped some friends out and threw SLO House Hunters together.
  • Remember the Milk is very cool.
  • I?ve been toying with refreshing the design around here (oh yes, it?s called refreshing ? not realigning). But I really can?t think of what could be spiced up. If you have any opinions, do share. I haven?t ever gotten anything but good praise out of the design, which worries me.

    SLOHunters looks very nice and is a great idea. For those with freetime and the will, I could see similar sites popping up all over the place.

    Why the crazy avalonstar?

    Sorry no tips for a refresh, maybe you should start a Refresh group in SLO to get ideas.

    The main navigation is a good place to start. That’s the one thing that has bugged me for so long because it looks as if it’s thrown in last minute.

    Just saw V for Vendetta, damn that’s a good movie. That’s the first movie in quite a while to really grab me.

    I was looking for that scar, and I noticed a little scar while she was in detention (trying not to spoil) as well. It wasn’t as apparent as later in the movie, but there was a definite scar.

    costa rica is awesome. we have broadband btw, though very expensive, i have a 1mbit line which costs me $100/month, the max you can get is 4mbit which right now goes for $330/month.
