2005 / September 21st/ Dear Bank of America
Dear Bank of America,
I take pride in the fact that I bank at one of the few banks operating that seem to “get it” that people actually use online banking and you contniue to improve your services. I constantly use your online banking service, and at this point couldn’t live without it.
But I politely request that you add one feature. I want to be able to balance my check book online.
You see, it seems so blatantly simple that I’m not quite sure why no banks have moved forward with this idea. I can type in a check number and find out the amount, when it was cashed - even see a scan of the check. But why can’t I enter a check # and amount for a check that hasn’t been cashed yet? I want an up-to-date balance that’s automated. When I write a $485 rent check, I’d like to log in, type in check #441 amount $485 and have this updated balance available somewhere. When the check gets cashed, you can just “confirm” that the correct amount was taken.
It would make my life so much better.
Thank you,
Kyle Neath
