The point?

My javascript is (far) more readable

Effects are easier to control, easier to modify

My form degrades gracefully in the event javascript is disabled

Cuts down on HTML junk

Helps contain all javascript functionality in one place, instead of spread across multiple files

The same cannot be said for RoR's implementation of the prototype library.

Behaviour is aimed to be a replacement for inline event handlers, nothing more, nothing less. Yes it does excel at what you're talking about, but it certainly can be used for other purposes as well.

To me, behaviour : functionality :: css : presentation

You're using Behaviour.js for the comments. :-)

Don't see the point personally since it's only one element, and behaviour is usually used to add, you know, behaviour, to a group of elements at once, but I suppose it does make for cleaner HTML and a more declarative coding style.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

JBagley, 4 ½ has to do with the fact that the last 3 months or so I put up a "temporary" version I would say... not quite a full version, so I deemed it ½ ;)

Pretty swanky new look ya got goin'. Very nice. Your header image is repeating though, so it looks a bit off-kilter. It's not supposed to do that, methinks?

Looks fantasic Kyle. I've been given sneak peaks from you as you have been developing this and it's turned out very well.

This is your best design for this site yet even though I did quite like the older, worn down look you had on the go at one stage.

I'm off to have a play on the site now and see what new things you have around here.
