2005 / July 31st/ How not to handle customer service

Back in April, I cancelled an old hosting account. I cancelled it about 2 weeks before my renewal was up, but the hosting company did not actually cancel it until several days after my order went through. There was no refund. Today I got this email “resolving” the issue:

It was entirely 2CO’s fault that this order would not cancel. We kept trying and eventually it canceled. It is not our fault if 2CO is messed up.

Ah yes. Blame someone else.
